What riders ask.

Will this actually make a real difference to my times?

Almost certainly yes. The most common positions we see have the saddle slammed all the way to the front or the stack sitting 4-5cm too low. These aren't marginal problems - they're costing you serious watts and making long efforts so much harder and slower than they need to be. Most riders don't know because nobody has ever told them.

Is this only for fast or experienced riders?

The opposite, actually. The newer you are to TT or triathlon, the more you have to gain. Experienced riders have usually ironed out some of the problems over time. Beginners (especially on a road bike with clip-ons) are the most likely to be in a position that's both slow and actively hurting them. Everyone deserves a position that works, both pros and beginners.

I heard pushing the saddle forward opens up your hip angle and helps you run off the bike. Is that true?

No. This one is everywhere and it's wrecking people's positions. Saddle fore-aft affects your knee tracking, power output and the load that gets put on your upper body and only helps open your hip angle minimally. There are better ways to open up your hip angle that don't compromise everything else. This is exactly the kind of bro science this consultation will cut through.

My bike isn't a proper TT or tri setup - is it still worth getting a fit?

Yes. If anything, more so. A road bike with clip-ons has far less intended adjustability than a dedicated TT bike, which means getting the basics wrong is easier and the consequences are greater. Whatever you're riding, a good position matters.

Level the Playing Field

Cycling has a habit of taking itself too seriously. In the chase for marginal gains, costs go up and the everyday rider gets pushed out.

We don’t hate performance - we love it, but there’s a time and place for elite-level gear. There should also be space for riders who want competitive kit without the barrier of entry.

We simplify design, production, and setup to make performance more accessible.

More access means more riders. And that’s better for the sport.
